Almost 600 flights had been delayed or canceled at Denver Worldwide Airport on Tuesday as thunderstorms dropped important rain throughout the east metro.
The Federal Aviation Administration ordered a floor cease at DIA at 4 p.m. till 7:15 p.m. due to the storms, the company stated in an alert. Arriving flights had been delayed by an hour on common due to thunderstorms.
There have been 569 flight delays and 12 canceled flights as of seven:25 p.m., together with 227 delays on United, 147 delays on Southwest and 136 on SkyWest.
A flood advisory was energetic for components of northeast Colorado due to extreme rainfall, together with DIA in addition to central Adams, north central Araphoe, northeastern Denver and south central Weld counties, in keeping with the Nationwide Climate Service.
