Donald Trump isn’t just gifting shoes to his MAGA allies, it has emerged.
He’s also reportedly given out another clothing item, and fashion advice too.
The president’s penchant for handing out $145 footwear to members of his Cabinet, GOP lawmaker allies and even Fox News’ Sean Hannity — that they are reportedly “afraid not to wear” — has come to the fore in recent days, particularly following THAT image of Secretary of State Marco Rubio appearing to wear shoes that were far too big.
On Wednesday, Hannity’s colleague Jesse Watters revealed on “The Five” that Trump has also given him a clothing gift.
“This is what the president does,” said Watters, a big fan of the president.
“I used to wear these really English spread collars on the air and it used to really piss off the president,” he recalled.
Per Watters, Trump would “see me and go, ‘Jesse, your collar is so spread it looks like it’s going backwards behind your head.’”
“So, he bought me a bunch of shirts with a normal collar,” said Watters.
“Wait, what?!?” asked co-host Jessica Tarlov.
“Just like one shirt,” Watters backtracked.
He then added: “I felt like pressure to wear it. I mean, it was too big, but now I wear normal collars. But he was right, my English collar was really messed up.”
