A Denver man wished on suspicion of homicide in a 2023 bar taking pictures that killed two individuals and wounded two others was arrested Friday night time, someday after the FBI introduced a $10,000 reward for data within the case.
Matthew LaDaniel Johnson was wished on suspicion of two counts of homicide and two counts of tried homicide in reference to a Dec. 30, 2023, taking pictures on the shuttered Viking Bar at 4888 W. Colfax Ave.
Police say a struggle between Johnson’s girlfriend and one other man escalated after the person punched Johnson and knocked him to the bottom, which is when Johnson pulled out a gun and started taking pictures, hitting 4 individuals.
Jason Lewis, 38, and Brandon Houston, 41, died at a hospital.
A tipster got here ahead after the FBI increased the reward for information in the case to $10,000 on Thursday. FBI brokers and Denver law enforcement officials arrested Johnson in north Denver on Friday night time, federal officers stated on social media.
