FBI officers on Thursday elevated the reward for details about a person needed on suspicion of homicide in a 2023 taking pictures at a now-closed Denver bar that killed two individuals and wounded two others.
The FBI is providing $10,000 for data resulting in the arrest and conviction of Matthew LaDaniel Johnson, who’s suspected of two counts of first-degree homicide and two counts of tried homicide in addition to one federal rely of fleeing prosecution.
Investigators say a combat broke out at The Viking bar, 4888 W. Colfax Ave., between Johnson’s girlfriend and one other man about 1:30 a.m. Dec. 20, 2023, when the person punched Johnson and knocked him to the bottom.
Johnson pulled out a gun and began taking pictures at individuals on the patio, hitting 4 males. Two of the lads, 38-year-old Jason Lewis and 41-year-old Brandon Houston, later died at a hospital.
Johnson has ties to Chicago, Louisiana, Colorado and Sacramento, Calif., in response to the FBI. He beforehand labored at a public library.
Johnson is described as Black, 5-foot-11 and 225 kilos with brown hair and brown eyes. He was born in Denver and has used completely different birthdates that determine him as 35 or 55 years outdated.
