Aug 10 (Reuters) – Nvidia (NVDA.O) and AMD (AMD.O) have agreed to present the U.S. authorities 15% of income from gross sales to China of superior pc chips like Nvidia’s H20 which are used for synthetic intelligence purposes, a U.S. official instructed Reuters on Sunday.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration halted gross sales of H20 chips to China in April, however Nvidia final month introduced the U.S. stated that it could permit the corporate to renew gross sales and it hoped to begin deliveries quickly.

One other U.S. official stated on Friday that the Commerce Division had begun issuing licenses for the sale of H20 chips to China.
