They added that after an emergency assembly, they analysed that “Brian Mwenda stole the id of a lawyer with a reputation that’s just like his – Brian Mwenda Ntwiga – after the legit lawyer reached out to the Secretariat after realising that he might not log into the system.”

After informing the IT division on September 28 of his difficulties, they promptly found that he was unable to entry his membership website for the reason that data within the system, particularly his e-mail tackle, didn’t belong to him.

 “On the fifth Day of August 2022, Brian Mwenda Ntwiga was admitted to the Bar and his right e-mail tackle was captured and an Account opened for him within the Advocates portal. We reached out to Advocate Brian Mwenda Ntwiga who confirmed that he had not utilized for a working towards certificates since his admission, purpose being that he had been working on the Workplace of the Lawyer Common and didn’t require a Working towards Certificates,” the assertion stated.

The Regulation Society of Kenya continued, “It was solely till someday in September 2023 when he tried to login into the system and activate his profile to use for his Practising Certificates that he realised he couldn’t entry his LSK Portal.”

In addition they revealed that after being granted entry to the platform, Brian Mwenda modified his profile picture, utilized for, and paid for his practising certificates. “Upon being allowed entry to the account, he took management of the portal and altered his profile image, the office and utilized and paid for the working towards certificates. Nonetheless, his software was not processed since he was required to offer paperwork together with the certificates of enterprise incorporation,” they stated.
