Russia “should cease” its blockade of Ukrainian seaports after pulling out of a United Nations and Turkey-mediated deal to make sure grain shipments, the president of the European Council Charles Michel mentioned Friday.
“It is frankly scandalous that Russia, after having terminated the Black Sea grain initiative, is obstructing and attacking Ukrainian ports. This should cease,” Michel informed reporters in India’s capital of New Delhi, forward of a G20 summit.
Russia pulled out of the grain settlement in July after claiming that it had didn’t fulfil the purpose of relieving starvation in Africa.
