An individual altering a automobile tire on the shoulder of Interstate 25 was hit and killed by an oncoming car Saturday morning.
The car, described as a black Toyota 4Runner, allegedly then fled the scene, according to Denver police.
The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. on southbound I-25 simply north of the West Alameda Avenue exit. The pedestrian was altering the automobile tire on the appropriate shoulder.
