The two European brands have renewed their partnership to produce a slim leather wallet with a built-in rechargeable Bluetooth tracker, priced at £120 and available now.
A renewed partnership between two EU brands

Chipolo, the Slovenian Bluetooth tracker company, and Secrid, the Dutch certified B-corp best known for its card-protecting aluminium wallets, have announced a second collaboration. The result is the Chipolo x Secrid Miniwallet Trackable, a slim leather wallet with a Chipolo CARD tracker integrated into its design from the ground up. The product went on sale on 21 April 2026 at £120, available through chipolo.net and Amazon marketplaces across the UK, USA, Canada, and much of Europe and Australia.
The two companies first worked together in 2023. This second version builds on that foundation with a number of meaningful changes, most notably a significant improvement to battery life and updated Bluetooth specifications on the CARD tracker itself.
What is actually in the box

The wallet itself is the familiar Secrid Miniwallet format: a leather outer with a snap fastener, built around an aluminium card mechanism. Press the lever at the bottom and the cards fan out for easy access, a mechanism that has made Secrid wallets popular with people who carry a small number of cards regularly. The overall dimensions are 21 mm x 65 mm x 102 mm, which keeps it genuinely pocket-friendly.
Sitting inside a dedicated rear pocket is the Chipolo CARD, a credit-card-sized tracker measuring 85.2 mm x 53.6 mm x 2.5 mm. At 2.5 mm thick, it adds negligible bulk to the wallet. The CARD slots in without modification or any visible alteration to the wallet’s profile.
The wallet is available in three colour options: black, dark blue, and light blue with an orange lever. The leather is sourced from European suppliers, and the wallets are assembled in sheltered workshops in the Netherlands. The CARD itself is made from at least 50% recycled plastic and manufactured in Slovenia.

Tracker specs and platform compatibility

The Chipolo CARD inside this wallet uses Bluetooth Low Energy 6.0, with a claimed range of up to 120 metres. It is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, meaning it should survive the usual pocket hazards without issue. For locating the wallet from a distance, the tracker’s speaker can reach up to 110 dB, which Chipolo claims is around 3 dB louder in this particular wallet than in a standard slim wallet. That improvement comes from a custom cutout in the wallet’s rear pocket, which is designed to allow the speaker sound to project rather than being muffled by the leather.
On the platform side, the CARD supports either Apple Find My or Google’s Find Hub on Android. It is worth noting that it works with one network at a time, so users must choose which ecosystem they want to pair with. For iOS users, locating the wallet is done through the Find My app, while Android users running Android 9 or later with Google Play Services installed use Find Hub. Both rely on crowd-sourced location networks, which in practice means the tracker’s usefulness when lost at a distance depends on how many other devices are nearby.
Beyond the platform-level tracking, Chipolo also offers its own companion app for both iOS and Android. This adds features not available through Find My or Find Hub alone, including the ability to ring your phone directly from the wallet. A double-press of the CARD’s button triggers the phone to ring even if it is set to silent, which requires the Chipolo app to be installed and running in the background. The app also allows users to change the ringtone assigned to the CARD, and on iOS there is an option to adjust the ring volume.
Battery life improvement is the headline change
The most notable update in this version compared to earlier Chipolo CARD products is a doubling of the claimed battery life. The CARD now lasts up to one year on a single charge, up from the previous six months. Chipolo states this improvement comes after more than a year of testing. Recharging is done wirelessly via Qi magnetic charging, with the CARD automatically centring on the charger. A full charge takes two hours, and no charger is included in the box.
Using wireless charging rather than a proprietary cable or battery replacement is a practical advantage for a product that lives inside a wallet. There is no need to swap out a battery or locate a specific cable, and because the CARD uses a rechargeable cell rather than a disposable one, there is no ongoing cost for replacements.
Design considerations and the sound cutout
The wallet has been specifically engineered around the CARD’s dimensions and speaker position. A debossed circle on the back of the wallet aligns with the CARD’s button, making it straightforward to press even without removing the tracker from the pocket. This is the button used for the call-your-phone feature, and having it accessible through the leather without fumbling is a sensible design choice.
The custom speaker cutout is the other design element worth noting. Most slim wallets that can hold card-format trackers do so incidentally, with no consideration for how well the tracker’s speaker projects through the material. Secrid has built a cutout specifically matched to the CARD’s speaker position, which is the basis for the claimed 3 dB loudness improvement. In practical terms, 3 dB represents a doubling of acoustic power, though perceived loudness does not double in the same proportion. Even so, at a peak of 110 dB, this is already one of the louder card-format trackers available.
Chipolo app extras
While the core tracking functionality works through Apple Find My or Find Hub, Chipolo’s own app extends what the CARD can do. Key features available through the Chipolo app include:
- Call Your Phone: double-press the CARD’s button to ring your phone even when it is on silent.
- Out of Range Alerts (Android only): the app notifies you when you leave the CARD behind. On iOS this is handled natively through Find My.
- Ringtone selection: assign a different ringtone to each Chipolo device you own.
- Volume adjustment (iOS): control how loud the CARD rings through the app.
- Remote shutter: use the CARD’s button as a camera trigger for group photos.
- Software upgrades: firmware updates are delivered through the app.
Availability and pricing
The Chipolo x Secrid Miniwallet Trackable is priced at £120 in the UK, $140 in the USA, and EUR 120 in Europe. It is available directly from chipolo.net and through Amazon marketplaces in the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Ireland, and Australia. Orders opened on 21 April 2026.
For context, a standard Secrid Miniwallet retails at around £55 to £65 depending on the material, and a standalone Chipolo CARD tracker is available separately. Buying the two as a bundled product at £120 represents a premium for the purpose-built integration, particularly the speaker cutout and the debossed button guide, as well as the guarantee that the tracker fits correctly within the wallet’s dedicated pocket.
