US Keeps All Boeing 737 MAX 9 Planes Grounded For

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated Friday that every one 737 MAX 9 planes would stay grounded till Boeing supplies additional knowledge following a near-catastrophic incident on an Alaska Airways-operated plane.

“For the security of American vacationers the FAA will hold the Boeing 737-9 MAX grounded till in depth inspection and upkeep is carried out and knowledge from inspections is reviewed,” the FAA stated in an announcement.

The FAA stated it wanted extra data from Boeing earlier than approving the producer’s proposed inspection and upkeep directions.

Earlier Friday the FAA stated it was planning to extend its oversight of Boeing manufacturing and manufacturing, together with auditing its 737 MAX manufacturing line and suppliers.
