A Colorado man in Hawaii returned from scuba diving complaining of issue respiratory. Moments later, he grew to become unresponsive and was pronounced lifeless by medics. Hawaii Police are investigating the demise as a doable drowning, based on a news release from the Hawai‘i Police Department.
Greg Durocher, 51, of Fort Rock had scuba diving classes along with his household at Waiolena Seashore Park on Monday afternoon, the discharge stated. Durocher was within the water for about 38 minutes earlier than he returned to shore complaining of issue respiratory, the discharge stated.
Shortly after, Durocher grew to become unresponsive, police stated. The dive teacher and Durocher’s household started CPR and had been met by medics with the native fireplace division.
Durocher was taken to Hilo Benioff Medical Heart, the place he was pronounced lifeless shortly after being admitted, the discharge stated.
Police initiated a coroner’s inquest to find out the reason for demise. No foul play is suspected, officers stated.
