President Donald Trump on Tuesday made a fowl suggestion in a post to his social media platform as he claimed that windmills “are killing all of our beautiful Bald Eagles” alongside a picture of a dead bird beneath a wind turbine.

But the photo depicts a falcon killed by a wind turbine in Israel, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which published the image in 2017.

The wind turbine in the picture, seemingly a screenshot from Google Images, clearly features writing in Hebrew.

The president’s embarrassing suggestion on Truth Social arrived in a series of posts that renewed his war on renewable energy.

The president has been fuming about wind energy since an offshore wind farm was proposed nearly 20 years ago near property he purchased to build a golf resort in Scotland.

He complained that the “really ugly wind farm” would ruin his course and sued to block the construction, only to lose.

Trump’s latest posts come just days after a Virginia offshore wind developer filed a lawsuit over an “arbitrary and capricious” government order to block the construction of its project and four others.
