Interstate 70 is closed in each instructions via Glenwood Canyon due to flash flooding.
The Nationwide Climate Service has issued a flash flood warning for components of Eagle and Garfield counties together with Glenwood Canyon. The warning runs via 7:15 p.m.
The freeway is closed between Glenwood Springs and Dotsero, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

About 5:10 p.m. heavy rain, between .05 and 1 inch, had fallen on the Grizzly Creek burn scar space, the climate service stated, and flash floods have been occurring.
