Diageo has agreed to promote two of its Australian ready-to-drink manufacturers, UDL and Ruski Lemon, to native drinks group Vok Drinks.

Monetary particulars of the transaction weren’t disclosed.

In a joint assertion, Dan Hamilton, managing director of Diageo’s Australia enterprise, mentioned: “The choice to promote UDL and Ruski was not made frivolously, however we consider it’s one of the best ways to protect the legacy of those iconic manufacturers and unlock future progress and innovation throughout Diageo’s broader portfolio.”

The sale to Vok Drinks is anticipated to be finalised by 1 October.

Diageo nonetheless produces a spread of RTD manufacturers in Australia below the manufacturers Bundaberg rum, Smirnoff vodka, Johnnie Walker whisky, Captain Morgan rum and Gordon’s gin.
