Arapahoe County massage therapist recorded clients undressing

An Arapahoe County massage therapist recorded adult and child clients undressing and during sessions without their knowledge, according to court documents.

Christopher Ost, a 39-year-old massage therapist based in Centennial, turned himself in last week and was charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child and three counts of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification.

Ost largely worked out of his home in the 5300 block of S. Genoa Way in Centennial, but he also visited clients’ homes and worked with children with disabilities throughout the Denver area, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Centennial home at 8:55 a.m. on Oct. 21, after Ost’s wife told 911 dispatchers that she had found a video of a woman undressing on her husband’s phone. She said Ost was not aware she had found the recording.

Ost’s wife told investigators that she was going through pictures on the phone on Oct. 19 when she noticed a video taken in Ost’s massage room earlier that month, according to the arrest affidavit.

The 17-minute video showed a woman coming into the room and undressing, the document stated. After the woman finished undressing, Ost entered the room, collected the phone and stopped the recording.

When detectives reached out to the woman in the video, she said she had been getting one or two massages a month from Ost for more than a year, and that she had no idea she was being recorded, police said in the affidavit.

On Oct. 24, deputies responded to Ost’s Centennial home for a protection order violation, police said. His wife had him served with divorce papers after discovering the video, and a protection order was issued out of Arapahoe County on Oct. 23. The protection order barred Ost from being at the Genoa address.

Ost was arrested for violating the protection order and his phone was placed into evidence.
