Blanche, who previously served as Trump’s personal attorney, also managed to gross out a lot of people on social media for one particular comment.
During Tuesday’s press gaggle, Blanche admitted that no one but Trump knows why Bondi was canned, and declared that his fearless leader has the “right” and “duty” to have his enemies investigated, “using all of the resources we can.”
But it was Blanche’s response to a question on whether he’d want to be appointed AG full time that left a lot of people on social media gagging in a metaphorical sense.
“If President Trump chooses to keep me as acting, that’s an honor,” Blanche said. “If he chooses to nominate me, that’s an honor. If he chooses to nominate somebody else and I go back to being the DAG, that’s an honor.”
Blanche then reiterated if Trump chooses to nominate somebody else for the attorney general gig, he will say, “Thank you very much. I love you, sir.”
Yes, there’s video. Thanks for asking.
It’s one thing to respect and support your boss, but many people thought Blanche’s use of the “L” word in connection with the president was kinda creepy ― and also kinda gross.
