Forget Cannes: CVS is the spot for celebrity sightings. That is, if you’re basing your evidence on Vogue’s best Beauty Secrets of 2025, which reveal drugstore finds and more from top models, athletes, musicians, and actors. To wit: “I go through, like, eight of these a month,” Bella Hadid told Vogue, holding up a bottle of Weleda Skin Food. “I buy them at CVS, and I’m obsessed.” After smoothing the rich, botanical salve over her face, the model said, “This is how I get a good dewy look…. This is really the best primer for me.” (Hadid isn’t the only Vogue cover star who swears by Skin Food: In her Beauty Secrets installment, Alex Consani called it her favorite moisturizer.)
Skin thoroughly primed, Hadid started in on her makeup with another convenience-store standby: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. “This is what I really love for my natural looks,” she said. “Again, it’s an obvious CVS Pharmacy trick. It smells like coconuts. I like to bring it all the way around the face to make it really look like we went to the beach, even though we didn’t.”
Hadid doesn’t need to sell Dua Lipa on the drugstore shortcut to a tropical glow. “I found this in a CVS a really long time ago when I was in a pinch, and I became obsessed with it,” Lipa told Vogue, showing off the very same Physicians Formula powder. “It smells amazing, and it’s really light and nice.” Another subtle beauty trick? “I’ve been drawing on little freckles,” Lipa confessed, using One/Size’s liquid eyeliner pen to daintily dot some on. “It’s so faint, but I think it does a little nose-contouring trick.”
As it happens, Hailey Bieber is another faux-freckle fan. One of the Rhode founder’s youth-preserving tricks—no lasers or injections required—is Tarte’s Go With the Faux Freckle Stamp. “Enhancing your freckles gives a youthfulness to your skin that I think is really cute,” Bieber said. “Whether you have natural freckles to enhance or not, it doesn’t really matter. If you’re into it and you like the way it looks, you can totally just create your own.”
Of course, once you’ve made any look your own, you’ll want to lock it in. For that, Vogue’s celebrities gravitate toward One/Size’s On ’Til Dawn Setting Spray. Sofia Richie Grainge called the waterproof mist a “game changer.” And speaking of games, Angel Reese uses the same setting spray on the court. “My makeup stays on in the game because of this,” the WNBA player said. “Everybody always asks what the girlies are using? One/Size!” And perhaps a few other products besides that.
