A video has captured the second when a police helicopter crashed into Lake Balaton in Hungary. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon throughout a deliberate train of the Air Policing Service in Balatonszeplak, Hungary, as per a Sky News report.
The video shared on Reddit and a number of other different social media platforms confirmed how the helicopter spun uncontrollably, crashed into the lake, and slowly sank into the water. The helicopter crashed into the water about 300 meters from the shore.

Fortunately, nobody was severely injured within the accident and the two-man crew was later rescued by a ship. The 2 policemen had been taken to the hospital with minor accidents.
In line with Hungary Today, divers arrived on the scene round 5 p.m. on Thursday afternoon and began to evaluate the technical rescue choices.
In a statement, The Nationwide Police Headquarters stated, ”Throughout a deliberate train of the Air Police of the Fast Response and Particular Police Service, on 7 September 2023 at 14.44 close to Balatonszéplak, about 300 meters from the shore, a helicopter of kind MD-500E crashed into the water of the lake for causes which can be at the moment unclear. The 2-man crew of the airplane had been rescued by a close-by boat and delivered to shore with out critical harm. The circumstances of the incident are below investigation.”
