Donald Trump on Thursday brushed apart any criticism of his administration’s lethal strikes on alleged drug-trafficking vessels as he bluntly admitted: “I believe we’re simply going to kill folks.”
Trump has in current days vowed to proceed the assaults on boats believed to be smuggling narcotics into the U.S. and has even urged the strikes might broaden to land targets. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has slammed the assaults as “abstract execution.”
