Top oil CEOs join CNBC at ADIPEC to discuss the energy transition

Main oil executives, policymakers and ministers convene in Abu Dhabi at ADIPEC this week to debate power markets because the world grapples with a transition to scrub power. It comes simply weeks forward of the COP28 local weather talks, which might be held in Dubai later this yr.

CNBC’s Steve Sedgwick is joined in Abu Dhabi by the CEOs of BP, Shell and different main worldwide power corporations for a dialogue on the challenges of the power transition.

Titled “Actions for a net-zero world: fixing the present power trilemma,” Monday’s panel consists of Murray Auchincloss, interim BP CEO, Occidental CEO Vicki Hollub, Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi, TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanne, Shell CEO Wael Sawan and Tengku Muhammad Tufik, the president and CEO of Petronas.
