A report of suspected explosives interrupted operations at the Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora on Monday, though authorities later said there was no threat to the base.
A bevy of emergency personnel responded to the base Monday afternoon, closing an inspection point and causing delays at several gates.
Installation officials created a 1,000-foot safety cordon around one of the inspection bays and instructed people to avoid the area.
All gates have since resumed normal operations, officials said in a news release.
