“Trump is so unpopular there were even ‘No Kings’ rallies across Europe,” Colbert pointed out, noting one in London that “must’ve been awkward” given the country’s actual monarch.
Colbert pointed to some of the signs he enjoyed at the U.S. protests, such as one calling Trump’s team “The Turd Reich” and another reading “Jimmy Kimmel has higher ratings than you!”
But one visual really caught his eye ― and it wasn’t a sign, but an elaborate display.
“Perhaps the most impressive of all was this inflatable Trump pooping directly onto the Constitution,” he said, and showed footage of the balloon as the audience cheered:
“That is,” Colbert said, then offered up a chef’s kiss. “Spectacular craftsmanship, above all else.”
