A youth soccer coach in St. Louis, Missouri, was hospitalized after he was shot a number of occasions by a guardian upset at their son’s lack of enjoying time, police stated.
Shaquille Latimore, 30, was shot a number of occasions Tuesday night whereas teaching children throughout a youth soccer apply, based on a probable cause statement by the St. Louis Circuit Lawyer’s Workplace.
The suspect, 43-year-old Daryl Clemmons, turned himself in and was charged with first-degree assault and armed felony motion. Authorities stated Clemmons was upset that his son hadn’t gotten extra enjoying time on the group of 9 and 10-year-olds.
“I didn’t see his gun till it was already too late,” Latimore told the St. Louis Dispatch from his hospital mattress. “I ran, and he shot me within the again. I fell, and he shot me a pair extra occasions.”
Latimore stated that Clemmons was beforehand a coach for the group and would usually critique Latimore’s efficiency.
