Police are investigating after a small airplane crashed Sunday afternoon close to the runway on the Erie Municipal Airport in Weld County, in response to the division.
The Erie Police Department first posted in regards to the single-plane crash at 3:59 p.m. Sunday. Division spokesperson Amber Luttrell stated the crash occurred about quarter-hour earlier than that.
