Tonight, the 2026 Golden Globes saw plenty of A-list stars turn up to the The Beverly Hilton in style. The red carpet and ensuing ceremony—hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser—served as a fine display of Hollywood excellence, not to mention classic Hollywood glamour. As for the best dressed stars of the night? It was the buzzy presenters and nominees who leaned into the extravagance of awards season—delivering looks that were heavy on zingy colors, powerful shapes, and of course, lots of diamonds.
The night was all about extravagant splendor: Many of the custom looks tonight took weeks, if not months, to bring to life. It took Chanel 323 hours, for instance, to create Selena Gomez’s black velvet bustier dress, which featured over 200 flowers made from feathers, organza, and silk chiffon. It also took Versace 400 hours to create the white strapless gown worn by Amanda Seyfried, complete with a dramatic stole. The night was all about championing slow fashion—and highlighting garments that required plenty of work (much like the acting performances being celebrated).
There were some unexpected fashion wins tonight, too, like Sinners star Wunmi Mosaku: The star surprise-announced her second pregnancy, in a striking yellow gown by Matthew Reisman. Marty Supreme star Odessa A’Zion went the archival route, slipping into a vintage black feathered Dolce & Gabbana coat—channeling a bit of Old Hollywood drama.
As for some of the best dressed gentleman of the evening? Simply nobody could take their eyes off the two Heated Rivalry stars, and it was Hudson Williams who shined in his white Giorgio Armani tuxedo and cummerbund. Many of the dapper gents also embraced timeless suiting that were punctuated with eye-catching brooches—including Michael B. Jordan (in Prada) and Jeremy Allen White (in Louis Vuitton), among others.
