A Moscow courtroom has sentenced a pupil to 10 days in jail after he renamed his wifi community with a pro-Kyiv slogan through the navy offensive in Ukraine, the Ria-Novosti information company reported on Saturday.
The coed at Moscow State College changed the title of the community from his wifi router with Slava Ukraini (“Glory to Ukraine”), the rallying cry of Ukraine forces.
The courtroom discovered him responsible of a “public demonstration of Nazi symbolics… or symbols of extremist organisations,” Ria-Novosti mentioned.
It added {that a} police officer had reported the community title to authorities.
Because the Russian offensive was launched in February 2022, officers have issued 1000’s of jail phrases or fines towards individuals publicly criticising the motion or exhibiting assist for Ukrainian forces.
