A pedestrian died Wednesday after being struck by two autos and dragged alongside a highway in Arapahoe County, in keeping with the Colorado State Patrol.
The pedestrian, an unidentified 31-year-old man, was crossing East Florida Avenue close to South Alton Road at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday when he was first hit, in keeping with a state patrol information launch.
The motive force of a black Land Rover Discovery SUV touring west on Florida hit the person within the left lane, throwing him into the proper lane, state patrol officers mentioned within the launch. That’s when a second car collided with the pedestrian and dragged him an unknown distance.
The motive force of the SUV stopped, however the second driver left the scene, in keeping with the state patrol.
Investigators mentioned the pedestrian died from his accidents on the scene of the crash. He shall be recognized by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Workplace.
The person was not crossing the road in a delegated crosswalk on the time of the crash, state patrol officers mentioned.
