Rep. Dave Taylor (R-Ohio) stated Wednesday he’s working with Capitol Police to research a swastika picture discovered on show in his Washington, D.C., workplace.
The picture, seen on a digital work name behind the desk of his staffers, was obtained and confirmed by Politico earlier Wednesday after The Rooster, an Ohio politics e-newsletter, first shared it on social media.
“I’m conscious of a picture that seems to depict a vile and deeply inappropriate image close to an worker in my workplace,” Taylor stated in a statement. “The content material of that picture doesn’t mirror the values or requirements of this workplace, my workers, or myself, and I condemn it within the strongest phrases.”
Taylor added that he “instantly directed an intensive investigation alongside Capitol Police, which stays ongoing,” declining additional remark till the probe is full. Capitol Police didn’t return requests for remark.
