On December 11, Vivek Arya of Bank of America reiterated its $275 price target on the company with a Buy Rating. BofA cited Nvidia’s commanding market share in the AI compute and networking sectors as the primary reason for maintaining its position. However, this positive view is counterbalanced by several risk factors, including the irregular nature of global AI projects, the cyclical variability of the gaming market, and outstanding concerns regarding the availability and access to power.
Earlier on December 9, Wells Fargo analyst Aaron Rakers maintained his Overweight rating on the Nvidia’s shares with a $265 price target. The analyst upgraded his evaluation of Nvidia after official statements confirmed that the Trump Administration had finalized its plans to remove export restrictions on Nvidia’s H200 chips being sold to China. Rakers characterized this development as an incremental positive and estimated that it could potentially generate an additional $25 billion to $30 billion in annual revenue for the company and add 60 to 70 cents per share to earnings.
