Last week, long-time reliable leaker Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) claimed that Motorola’s first non-foldable flagship phone since May 2024 would not be the rumoured Motorola Edge 70 Ultra after all. Instead, the company is producing a new Motorola Signature brand.
We saw some slightly blurry snaps of this smartphone earlier in December, back when we were still calling the phone the Edge 70 Ultra. Now, however, Blass is back with some much clearer shots of Motorola’s Signature device.
Despite the new branding and the ‘Crafted for the visionaries’ tagline (whatever that means), it looks a lot like a Motorola flagship phone, to be honest.
Take the curved display of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra (the brand’s last flagship phone), but apply the cleaner rear panel of the Motorola Edge 70, and you’d have something akin to the Signature.
It’s impossible to tell until we see the phone side-on, but has Motorola slimmed its flagship offering down a little? It wouldn’t be a surprise, given that the Motorola Edge 70 measured just 5.99mm thin.
