A person who stabbed his estranged spouse and her boyfriend to dying in Denver has been sentenced to 80 years in jail.
Matthew Madden, 38, was convicted Friday of the September 2021 deaths of Katherine “Katy” Pivoda and Jennifer Gelvin, This is reported by the Denver Public Prosecution Service. Pivoda was estranged from Madden on the time. Each ladies died on the scene from a number of stab wounds.
