“Body care isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the routine,” Bobbi Brown stresses. Renowned for her trend-leading minimal, makeup aesthetic that is all about enhancing one’s own beauty, it feels like a natural progression that the Jones Road founder would turn her attention to body care at a moment when the category itself is undergoing something of a revamp.
The Jones Roady Body-Care Collection, at a Glance
Gone are the days of hastily slathering on any old lotion, and only when skin begins to crack, flake or cry out for some moisture. Instead, body care has entered a more considered era, in which experts say a multi-step layered ritual should be every bit as nuanced and indulgent as our facial routine.
“Your body deserves the same level of care as your face,” says Brown. “Body care lives at two extremes–either very basic and purely functional, or overly indulgent in a way that feels disconnected from real life. I saw a real gap for products that feel luxurious and sensorial, but are still grounded in performance and fit easily into an everyday routine.”
But with the fast-paced lifestyles we all lead, the beauty entrepreneur designed the collection not to feel like another arduous chore, but like an indulgence you can be consistent with. “People don’t want more steps–they want better ones. I wanted to create body care that truly nourishes the skin, supports the barrier, and delivers real comfort. Rich, emollient formulas made with clean, high-grade ingredients that sink in beautifully and turn something you already do into a small moment of pleasure. Little luxuries that add up.”

Her makeup is defined by its ease of use and she says she wants the same to be true of these five new launches. “Jones Road has always been about making things better, not harder–and body is a natural extension of that philosophy,” she tells us. “These are the products you already reach for every day, just elevated. Same routine, better formulas–with more thoughtful textures, clean ingredients, and skin benefits you can actually feel.”
When it came to formulation, it was about creating that spa-like feeling, no spa needed. Her mission was to make “comforting, cushiony formulas for skin that feels deeply cared for, and a sensorial experience that encourages you to slow down for a second. The scent is fresh and calming, citrus with a clean, spa-like finish.” She adds, “We focused on nourishment, barrier support, and formulas that improve skin over time, while still feeling great to use every day.”
The challenge when it came to this new expansion? “Balance,” Brown says. “I wanted formulas that felt deeply nourishing and indulgent, but never heavy, greasy, or sticky. They needed to melt into the skin, deliver instant comfort, and still absorb quickly enough to work in real life–all while meeting our clean standards.”

The scent is light–clean but light–which makes it a good everyday option. Perhaps not the super indulgent everything shower option, but one to reach for morning or night.”
Jones Road Beauty The Body Lotion
A rich, thick body lotion, Bobbi Brown has formulated this product with hydration powerhouses like sodium hyaluronate, squalane, and ceramides. The result? Smooth, soft and moisture-enriched skin in support of the skin barrier. A classic push-down applicator, I was surprised by just how viscous this lotion is, comparable more to a cream than a classic lotion. This makes the application rather laborious, but you do get deep conditioning. I found it easier to spread when my body was still damp from the shower.
Jones Road Beauty The Body Oil
I am a huge fan of the Jones Road The Body Oil. From the silky texture to the non-greasy feel, it is a delight to slather onto the skin. But what makes it a huge win in my book is the immediate radiance. My skin was positively gleaming after use, and I only applied a few drops. The nourishment feels long-lasting too, with my limbs looking and feeling silky soft for hours after use.
Jones Road Beauty The Body Scrub
Unlike the tub-based body scrubs that I have favored in the past, the Jones Road take on the category comes in a tube, which feels a little less messy. The product is described as a ‘gentle exfoliant’, and it is exactly that. The formula glides onto the skin, using natural bamboo powder to buff away dullness-causing impurities to leave the skin so impressively smooth–but all without feeling abrasive. This is likely on account of the conditioning ingredients included that bring a touch of nourishment into what is not typically a luxurious process. You don’t need a lot of product for a big impact.
