A police officer in Greeley shot at a suspect who pointed a gun at them, authorities mentioned Thursday. The suspect ran off and is at massive.
The police capturing befell at about 11 p.m. Wednesday on the 1200 block of 6tha Avenue, in response to a 19th Judicial Critical Incidents Response Team press launch. The officer was checking a report of “suspicious exercise” when an encounter befell.
“The suspect ran away from Greeley’s officer on foot, turned and pointed a gun on the officer,” the discharge mentioned. “The officer returned fireplace and the suspect ran away from the officer. A fringe was arrange and the suspect was not situated.”
Authorities haven’t launched an outline of the suspect. An investigation is underway.
