A former Aurora police officer was sentenced to 18 months in jail for criminally negligent murder within the loss of life of 44-year-old Elias Anderson, who was killed when the officer crashed into him whereas responding to a non-emergency name in his patrol car.
Eduardo Landeros, 26, pleaded responsible to criminally negligent murder in August for the deadly crash on the intersection of South Chambers Street and East Bates Avenue in March.
