Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Sunday afternoon close to Rifle for a fireplace, in keeping with the Colorado Division of Transportation.
The eastbound freeway was closed at exit 94 for the Garfield County Regional Airport, about two miles east of Rifle, simply earlier than 3 p.m. Sunday, in keeping with state transportation officials.
It absolutely reopened by 3:45 p.m. Sunday.
State officers didn’t specify the kind of fireplace or the way it was impacting the freeway.
It is a growing story and could also be up to date.
