Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed Monday morning close to Rifle for a car fireplace, in accordance with the Colorado Division of Transportation.
As of 11:45 a.m., eastbound I-70 was closed between exit 87 for Rifle and exit 90 for Colorado 13, according to state transportation officials.
