Search crews early Wednesday recovered the physique of a 67-year-old man who went lacking whereas kayaking on Bowles Reservoir in Lakewood a day earlier.
West Metro Hearth Safety District crews and Lakewood cops responded to a water rescue at Bowles Reservoir close to Marston Lake at about 2 p.m. Tuesday after a kayak was discovered overturned within the water and an area resident was lacking.
UPDATE: rescue operation has now became restoration. Divers accomplished exhaustive sonar search of reservoir, with in depth underwater search, and didn’t discover anybody. Crews used sonar to look the reservoir, and after a number of hours the rescue became a restoration effort, based on posts by West Metro Hearth on X.
