Colorado’s collection of transfers continued Sunday with the addition of two former Big Ten players.

Former Ohio State offensive lineman Jayvon McFadden and former Indiana defensive back Jah Jah Boyd committed to the Buffs and head coach Deion Sanders.

The Buffs have now added 43 transfers since Jan. 3, unofficially filling 79 scholarship spots for the 2026 season.

McFadden, listed at 6-foot-3, 295 pounds, was a four-star recruit in the 2025 class and had 29 scholarship offers, choosing Ohio State over CU and others. His cousin is Jordan Seaton, a now-former CU star left tackle who put his name into the transfer portal this past week.

McFadden played in one game for the Buckeyes this year, playing 15 snaps against Grambling State. He comes to CU with four seasons to play and he is the eighth transfer addition to the offensive line.

Boyd, listed at 5-11, 173, appeared in six games as a redshirt freshman this year for Indiana, which will play in the national championship game Monday. He played just 47 snaps, all at safety, but recorded eight tackles and a forced fumble.

A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Boyd selected Indiana over Boston College, Pittsburgh, James Madison and others. He missed the 2024 season due to injury.

Boyd is the 10th transfer addition to the secondary this offseason.
