It was a weekend of separation throughout the nation in faculty basketball as groups clinched convention titles or inched one step nearer to {hardware}. The week gave us glimpses at greatness with most of the high groups within the high conferences sending statements about their standing within the league’s hierarchy like Tennessee, Purdue, Houston, UConn and North Carolina — within the SEC, Massive Ten, Massive 12, Massive East and ACC, respectively — knocking out opponents and remaining atop their respective league standings.
This week’s report card displays kindly on these groups whose performances had been crucial to claiming — or serving to their crew creep nearer to clinching — a daily season title. As has lengthy been the case, my grading system relies extra on latest vibes and efficiency inside per week and fewer on any system or mannequin. However that is principally excellent news as a result of the vibes are good for a big swath of groups with March Madness on the horizon.
