Ottawa:
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday apologised after the previous speaker of the Home of Commons chamber praised a Nazi veteran throughout a session the place Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was current.
“This was a mistake that has deeply embarrassed Parliament and Canada,” Mr Trudeau informed reporters, saying he would shortly get up within the Home of Commons to formally provide Parliament’s “unreserved apologies” for what occurred.
