(Reuters) -Belgium’s prime administrative courtroom on Wednesday rejected Alstom’s request to droop nationwide rail operator SNCB’s choice to call CAF as the popular provider for its AM30 prepare contract.
“The Council of State estimates, after an interim evaluate, that not one of the criticisms made by the corporate difficult the legality of this appointment choice had been critical,” it stated in an announcement.
CAF was appointed as the popular bidder in opposition to French trainmaker Alstom and Siemens of Germany on the finish of February.
In April, the courtroom suspended the order following Alstom’s enchantment in opposition to the choice.
“We’re disenchanted by this choice and by the truth that our arguments haven’t been taken under consideration. We don’t want to talk additional on this topic,” Alstom stated in an emailed response to Reuters.
