Emergency companies in Clear Creek County responded to the dying of a backcountry climber on Saturday.
The incident occurred within the space of Grays and Torreys Peak, a pair of common Colorado 14ers off the Interstate 70 mountain hall southwest of Silver Plume.
Alpine Rescue, Flight for Life, Clear Creek County Advocates and the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Workplace responded the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
The coordinated response effort induced some site visitors delays and momentary street closures close to the Loveland ski space.
The sheriff’s workplace mentioned one particular person was killed within the incident and the case has been turned over to the Clear Creek County Coroner’s Workplace. Further data was withheld pending notification to the sufferer’s household.
