Amazon Prime Day is one of the best times of the year to get a great phone deal, and the 2026 event just proved it.
Despite launching last September, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE remains our favourite mid-range phone. even at its £649 starting price.
But with a huge 31% discount, you can now snap one up for just £449. It probably comes as no surprise to learn that it’s the lowest price the phone has ever been. And if you’re a Prime Student, you can get an extra £100. It doesn’t get much better than that.
The offer applies to all four colours of the 128GB model – Jet Black, Icy Blue, Navy and White. But similarly great discounts are also available if you need 256- or 512GB of storage.
The deal runs for the full length of the Prime Day sale (actually four days), so you have until 11:59pm on 26 June to snap it up.
In the US? While not as steep a discount, Amazon is still offering the Galaxy S25 FE for $591.63 – that’s nearly £60 off its $649.99 RRP. The advantage here is that it’s not a Prime Day deal, so anyone can benefit, with free delivery offered regardless.
What the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has to offer
The fact that the Galaxy S25 remains our favourite mid-range phone nine months after it was released speaks volumes. That’s because it provides a near-perfect blend of premium hardware and slick software that does a great job of imitating flagships.
In my 4.5-star review, I praised its excellent build quality, superb battery life and strong main and selfie cameras (a.k.a. the lenses you’ll use the most). Performance is also very solid, unless you’re planning on demanding gaming.

Samsung also has the upper hand on most rivals in the software department, with One UI 8 delivering an intuitive user interface with tonnes of customisation options. Six more years of software updates is the icing on the cake.
However, it’s not perfect, with underwhelming ultrawide and telephoto cameras the main disappointment. While I encountered some software bugs during testing, these are almost certain to have been fixed by now.
Why it’s a good deal
I could easily recommend the Galaxy S25 FE at its full £649 RRP. To see a £200 discount on a device that’s so well future-proofed makes it a no-brainer if you’re looking for a mid-range phone.
While it’s possible we’ll see a Galaxy S26 FE soon, the ongoing global RAM shortage is placing huge pressure on phone makers like Samsung. If other 2026 handsets are anything to go by, it’ll likely be more expensive, introduce very meagre upgrades, or both.

With that in mind, I doubt you’ll be disappointed if you opt for the Galaxy S25 FE now. Given that it’s now well under half the price of most flagship phones, your wallet will certainly thank you.
