Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed near Eagle after a crash on the highway, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

State officials reported the crash between U.S. 6 and exit 147 for Eagle at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to an alert.

Traffic is being detoured onto U.S. 6, and drivers should expect delays, CDOT officials said.
