An armed man who was threatening to harm his household was fatally shot by a Pueblo police officer Tuesday morning after refusing to drop his gun, officers mentioned.
Police have been referred to as to the 100 block of Glen Royal Drive in south Pueblo at 11:44 a.m. when somebody reported a person was making threats to hurt members of his household, the Pueblo Police Division mentioned in a information launch.
Officers might see he had a gun, and one officer shot him after the person didn’t observe orders to drop the weapon. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
No officers or bystanders have been injured within the capturing, police officers mentioned.
The 10th Judicial District’s Critical Incident Response Team will examine the capturing, and the person will probably be recognized by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Workplace.
