OnePlus has announced three new products for the UK market: the OnePlus 15R smartphone, OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet, and OnePlus Watch Lite smartwatch. The launches were confirmed today, with pre-orders opening on 17th December 2025 for all three devices.
The OnePlus 15R represents the company’s value flagship offering, whilst the Pad Go 2 targets the mid-range tablet market. The Watch Lite aims to provide core smartwatch functionality at an accessible price point. All three devices will be available through OnePlus.com and local channel partners.
OnePlus 15R: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Performance

Processor and Memory Configuration
The OnePlus 15R is built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform, making it the first device to launch globally with this chipset. OnePlus states the processor was co-defined and co-optimised with Qualcomm over a 24-month period. According to the specifications, the chipset delivers 36% faster CPU speeds, 11% faster GPU speeds, and 46% improved AI performance compared to the previous generation.
The device pairs the processor with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. OnePlus claims this combination provides fast speeds for creating, copying, and moving data, though real-world performance will depend on the specific tasks being performed.
Battery Capacity and Charging
The OnePlus 15R features a 7,400 mAh battery, which is substantial for a smartphone. The battery supports OnePlus’s 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. OnePlus states the battery is designed to maintain at least 80% capacity after four years of use, even in harsh environments.
The battery uses Silicon Nanostack technology, incorporating 15% silicon content in its anode. This is said to provide improved energy density, allowing for the larger capacity in a smartphone form factor.
Display Specifications
The front of the device houses a 6.83-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, marking the highest refresh rate on a OnePlus device to date. The panel is an LTPS 1.5K AMOLED screen with 450 pixels per inch. Peak brightness reaches 1,800 nits, whilst the minimum brightness can drop to 1 nit when the Reduce White Point feature is activated.
The display includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for device unlocking. OnePlus has also integrated a dedicated Touch Response Chip, which enables a touch sampling rate of 3,200Hz. This is claimed to be industry-leading for instant touch response and smooth scrolling performance.
Camera System
The OnePlus 15R includes a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus capability. The rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, specifically the IMX906 sensor that also appears in the OnePlus 15. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor provides a 112-degree field of view.
OnePlus has equipped the device with its new DetailMax Engine for image processing. The camera system can record 4K video at up to 120 frames per second, and OnePlus states that footage can be edited directly on the device.
Design and Durability
Two colourways are available: Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze. Both variants use Velvet Glass technology for the rear panel. The Charcoal Black option is described as having a warm, soft touch with a clean appearance, whilst the Mint Breeze features a green finish with a subtle shimmer effect.
The OnePlus 15R carries four separate IP ratings: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. These ratings indicate protection against dust ingress and water immersion at various depths and pressures.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: Mid-Range Tablet with 5G Option

Display and Visual Experience
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch display, equivalent to 30.73 centimetres. The screen uses a 7:5 ReadFit aspect ratio, which OnePlus states is optimised for both viewing and writing tasks. The screen-to-body ratio measures 88.5%.
The display offers 284 pixels per inch and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space. High Brightness Mode reaches 900 nits, and the panel supports Dolby Vision for compatible content playback.

Performance and Longevity
A MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra octa-core chipset powers the tablet. The processor is built on a 4nm manufacturing process. OnePlus states the device has been certified by TUV SUD for fluency testing, claiming smooth performance over a four-year period.
The large 10,050 mAh battery supports 33W SUPERVOOC charging. OnePlus provides usage estimates of up to 15 hours of video playback, 53 hours of music playback, or 60 days on standby. The battery capacity allows for reverse cable charging, enabling the tablet to charge other devices in emergency situations.
Stylus Support and Software Features
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is the first device in the Pad Go series to support stylus input. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, sold separately for £79, offers low latency and high sensitivity. A ten-minute charge from empty provides approximately half a day of use.
Software features include AI Writer, AI Recorder, and AI Summary tools. The tablet supports Open Canvas, which allows multitasking with up to three windows: two applications open side-by-side and a third in a floating window.
Connectivity Options
OnePlus offers the Pad Go 2 in two variants: a Wi-Fi-only model and a 5G-enabled version. The 5G model, available exclusively in Shadow Black, is the first OnePlus tablet to include a SIM card tray. This enables direct cellular connectivity for calls, messages, and internet access.
When placed near a OnePlus phone, the tablet can share the phone’s data connection whilst reportedly using 30% less battery than traditional hotspot sharing methods.
Design Variants
Two colourways are available. Lavender Drift uses subtle lavender tones with precision-etched grooves that create shifting colour effects as light hits the surface. Shadow Black features an ultra-smooth matte finish described as having a modern aesthetic with a subtle glow effect.
OnePlus Watch Lite: Streamlined Smartwatch Experience

Health Monitoring Features
The OnePlus Watch Lite includes a 60-second Wellness Overview feature that provides a snapshot of heart health, sleep quality, and mental wellness metrics. The Mind and Body Evaluation feature monitors daily patterns to assess stress and energy levels throughout the day.
The watch sends alerts with insights based on activity, rest, and stress data collected during wear. These features aim to provide users with regular updates on their overall wellbeing status.
Fitness Tracking Capabilities
Over 100 workout modes are available on the Watch Lite, including 12 professional sports modes covering activities such as running, tennis, badminton, and skipping rope. For runners specifically, the watch includes automatic lactate threshold detection, which calculates key performance metrics after completing a run.
The device features dual-band GPS (L1/L5) for positioning accuracy during outdoor activities. A heart rate broadcast function allows the watch to transmit real-time heart rate data to compatible gym equipment.
Operating System and Connectivity
The Watch Lite runs on a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), which OnePlus states is optimised for performance and battery efficiency. The watch supports cross-platform dual-phone pairing, allowing simultaneous connection to two Android devices or one Android and one iOS device. This prevents missed notifications when using multiple phones.
Battery Performance and Design
Battery life reaches up to 10 days on a single charge under typical usage conditions. A 10-minute quick charge provides approximately 24 hours of operation, according to OnePlus specifications.
The watch measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 35 grams, making it OnePlus’s thinnest smartwatch to date. The lightweight construction is designed for comfort during workouts, sleep tracking, and daily wear. Over 350 watch faces are available for customisation.
Build Quality and Display
The casing is constructed from 316L stainless steel, available in Silver Steel and Black Steel finishes. Both variants include matching fluoroelastomer straps. The 1.46-inch AMOLED display offers peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits in Sports Mode. Aqua Touch technology enables touch control functionality when the screen or hands are wet.
